Welcome to LUSC Premier Soccer
We offer a premier environment for Leavenworth County youth interested in growing their skills beyond recreational play, and prepare them for high school soccer. The primary focus is on player and team development. The competitive division of our club plays outdoor soccer through Heartland in the spring and fall. During the winter teams compete in indoor or futsal, based on the best fit for the team. Our competitive teams go by the name Leavenworth United Soccer Club (LUSC).

Yearly Schedule
Each year we hold open tryouts two weekends in the middle of June to roster teams for the entire season. If players are interested in joining mid-season, contact us at vicepresident@leavenworthsoccer.org to set up a tryout with one of our coaches.

Youth Premier
Our youth division is comprised of kids ages U9-U14. These players are interested in playing on a team with a higher skillset and normally transition from recreational play. They desire additional knowledge about the game and competitive play with the same teammates season-after-season. Playing competitive soccer requires more commitment in time, money, and dedication. Teams practice 2-3 times a week for an hour and a half or two hours. Practices are held locally, but games are played throughout the metro. Teams may still be co-ed at this age group, based on the number of players.
High School Premier
The high school division is consisting of kids ages U15-U18. Most of them play for their local high school, but this is not a requirement. Girls will play in the fall, and boys play in the spring. Both are eligible to play in the winter. Normally, kids at this level have been playing for several years and have a love for the beautiful game and want to continue to grow and learn advanced skills and knowledge about that game. At this age, teams are normally same-gendered. Teams are dependent being able to roster enough interested players prior to the season beginning.
Tryouts
Tryouts are held in June each year. However, we do accept new players during the season if we have an opening. Contact the vicepresident@leavenworthsoccer.org about individual season availability. There is a $10 fee for tryouts.
Uniform Kit
The club purchases new kits every two years. The last refresh was fall of 2023. Each player is required to purchase the mandatory kit. For budgeting purposes, players can expect to spend $100 for the required uniform.
The mandatory kit includes:
- Two game jerseys
- One pair of game shorts
- One pair of game socks
Additional items such as warm-ups, backpacks, and spirit wear can be purchased from our vendor.

Fees
Fees include outdoor tournaments, registration fees, insurance, facility rentals, team communication apps, and administrative fees. Cost of uniform kit is not included. New kits are purchased every 2 years. New kits start fall 2023 Our club does not charge coaching fees. Payments may be made in full or automatically withdrawn monthly via credit card or ACH (Automatic Clearing House).
